About the Club

Founded in 1956 in Moraga, California, just east of the Oakland Hills, MHA is a family oriented club consisting of a junior and senior division. Each has their own board of directors and calendar of events.

Activities

Throughout the year, MHA holds a variety of activities and events. Trail rides, overnight trips, barbecues, and other social activities are the mainstays of MHA culture.

Facilities

MHA has a facility on Canyon Road in Moraga on land leased from the East Bay Municipal Utilities District (EBMUD), including a 2-acre arena area and 100 acres of pasture. The MHA property adjoins popular EBMUD trails, with scenic connections to Redwood Regional Park and Las Trampas Regional Wilderness.
