Connected Horse Program

Jan 15, 2019

Xenophon has been chosen to be a demonstration program that other centers can learn from.  They have done an extraordinary job developing this program with UC Davis.  If you know of anybody with dementia, this is an amazing program for that person and their care giver.  Please pass it along.

Holiday Party Time!

Dec 9, 2015

As you know, the holiday party is coming up and we're once again doing our raffle/auction for cool horsey items! Search your closets and barns and tack rooms for gently used, or new items you don't need and want to donate to the club for this fun event. As someone who doesn't actually have any horses, I don't have much of that sort of thing lying around so last year I donated some yummy baked goods. This really cute horse "wreath" looks so darling, I'm thinking I might try to make one myself to donate to the cause. Looking forward to seeing what others bring... any other creative ideas out there?

Thanks to All

Oct 18, 2015

Exhausted and a little bit loopy, but I just want to say thank you to everyone who came to Ponies & Pumpkins and helped make the event a success. And I mean everyone. From the volunteers who worked so hard all day and the days leading up to the event, to the people who came to get a pumpkin and watch some fun events and eat some good food. So thank you, and we can't wait to see you again next year. Actually, I can wait. I'm tired, I'll wait till next year. – Jamie

Look What I found!

I was surfing around the internet today, actually looking for an image to add to the P&P event page to illustrate the super-cool "Watershed Scavenger Hunt" that EBMUD is going to host, and found this cool blog. You might recognize some of the scenes from this hike. Most notably, I immediately recognized Zinny.

More Ponies & Pumpkins

Sept 16, 2015

Want a ponies & pumpkins t-shirt? Let me know TODAY and I will make the order.

Do you have broken jewelry, unpartnered earrings and random buttons to donate to the craft table? Send them to Jamie.

Planning is in high gear now, and we need your help. If you'd like to volunteer in any capacity, let me know and I'll be sure to put your name on the list.

We'll have a detailed jobs list shortly for everyone to sign up for, keep your eyes peeled for that.

Ponies & Pumpkins

Sept 3, 2015

A Ponies & Pumpkins committee met last Monday to discuss preliminary planning for the event. We've assigned several folks to head up different sub-committees and we're looking for volunteers to help out in both planning stages and the day of the event. Contact us if you are able to help! We're especially looking for leads on people who would like to come do a demonstration of their particular equine skill! Or do you know of a group that would like to have an outreach booth at the event? Hit us up!
